The International Ecotourism Society (TIES) is auctioning a four week expedition to the Philippines, kindly donated by Coral Cay Conservation (CCC).
You can bid for the amazing opportunity to join CCC’s Southern Leyte Coral Reef Conservation Project and spend 28 days doing “voluntourism” diving. CCC volunteers collect scientific information which is compiled and analyzed in order to formulate recommendations for the sustainable management and conservation of coral reefs and tropical forests. You do not need a background in science- CCC will teach you what you need to know, training is provided for scuba certification as well so all you need is the time to go, enthusiasm, moderate fitness, and a sense of adventure and fun!!
