CCC Features in BBC Lifeline Appeal
Added to website: 12 September 2004
Presented by Nick Clark, the BBC television appeal highlighted the important work CCC is doing to conserve threatened tropical forests and coral reefs, and thus the livelihoods of local communities, around the world. The programme appealed for Volunteers, from all ages and backgrounds (from gap year students, professionals on career breaks to even pensioners with a zest for life!), to join CCC expeditions and help make a difference.
The CCC Lifeline appeal was broadcast on BBC1- Sunday 5th September and on BBC2- Wednesday 8th September. Since the broadcasts, CCC has been inundated with enquires and applications from members of the public wishing to find out more about CCC and to join.
CCC would like to thank BBC Lifeline and its viewers for showing such great support of CCC’s conservation efforts worldwide.
