Four Marine Protected Areas in Sogod Bay, Philippines: An Evaluation of Biological Impact and Community Perception One Year On.
The marine resources of Sogod Bay, part of Southern Leyte, Philippines provide an important source of food and revenue for local communities. In 2005 four Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) were established by Coral Cay Conservation and the local Barangays. This report aims to provide a useful baseline for continuous evaluation of these MPAs.
