Who goes where
Coral Cay Conservation (0870 750 0668, www.coralcay.org) offers projects to preserve coral reefs off Honduras, the Philippines, Fiji, Mexico and Malaysia, and tropical rainforests in the Philippines and Malaysia. Groups depart monthly, trips last two weeks to six months. Costs from £550 for rainforest expeditions and £700 for marine, excluding flights.
