Conservation diving
Learn to dive while helping to preserve the world’s coral reefs on a conservation diving expedition in Honduras. Volunteers study the effects of human activities on the reef off the island of Roatan, the largest of the Bay Islands off the Honduran mainland. Volunteers, who may be qualified or unqualified divers, can stay from two to 12 weeks. The contribution fee of about £1,100 (including PADI dive training) for three weeks includes accommodation in wooden beach huts, food, training and expedition activities but not flights.
