The majority of companies offer teaching and conservation projects, but some are specifically directed at the latter. Coral Cay Conservation, for example, is a non-profit organisation, specialising in reef and forest protection projects. It trains volunteers to collect scientific data with the aim of ultimately establishing sustainable development programmes. Companies such as The Leap offer opportunities to work in centres for eco-tourism, such as in the great game parks of Africa.
