For Members of the Coral Cay Conservation Society
(Membership £25 per annum)
El Gouna Red Sea 3-10 November 2006
Purpose
The week’s diving in El Gouna will allow Coral Cay Conservation Society Members to enjoy top quality diving including some of best of the northern Red Sea’s famous reefs. Those with an interest in underwater photography will be able to acquire images of the both the natural coral reefs and the artificial reefs represented by the wrecks found in this area. By diving as a small group, members will be able to compare notes and develop their photographic techniques and conservation interests together. Subject to a minimum 5 persons attending, a workshop will be arranged at Coral Cay’s London HQ at some point after the trip so that a CCC marine biologist can help with species identification of corals, fish and invertebrates using the photographic record of the trip. At the workshop there will also be the opportunity to discuss conservation issues relating to the Red Sea (where CCC has been undertaking survey work) and to compare computer enhancement methods using Adobe Photoshop. For this workshop their will be a small additional charge of £35.
Members who are not photographers but simply wish to enjoy a week of excellent Red Sea diving are also welcome.
