Concert to benefit NFEFI

The Negros Forests & Ecological Foundation (NFEFI) will be a beneficiary of a gala concert in Bacolod on Wednesday, September 5.World-renowned conductor Helen Quach will conduct the Manila Symphony Orchestra at the Santuario de La Salle, University of La Salle. Also featured will be internationally acclaimed Filipino pianist Cristine Coyiuto.
There’s a terrific program lined-up — Beethoven’s Leonora Overture, No. 3 in C major; Grieg’s Concerto for piano and orchestra in A minor and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 in E minor.
So, if you’re in Bacolod on September 5, please be sure to attend. The program starts at 8pm. Tickets — a snip at P500 and P1000 — are available at the NFEFI office by the Capitol Lagoon plus Prudential Guarantee, Bob’s Cafe, Bob’s Restaurant, Business Inn, K-Mart, L’Fisher, Luxur Place and the Blade Saloon and Spa.
Not only will you have an enjoyable evening, but part of the ticket price will directly help NFEFI in its work to protect and conserve the Negros environment, especially the rare and endangered animals in its Biodiversity Conservation Center by the Provincial Lagoon in Bacolod City.
