Responsible Tourism Award Nominations

Responsible Travel are searching for tourism ventures that make a positive contribution to conservation and the economies of local communities, while minimizing the negative impacts of tourism.
The nomination categories are:
1. Best tour operator
2. Best hotel
3. Best mode of transport or initiative
4. Best in a mountain environment
5. Best in a marine environment
6. Best for poverty reduction
7. Best in protected area/park
8. Endangered species conservation
9. Best for innovation
10. Person who has made the greatest contribution
11. Best for technology.
12. Best volunteering programme
To Nominate:
All you have to do is email: awards@responsibletravel.com with the name, website and email details of the tourism venture that you would like to nominate, with up to 100 words explaining why they should win a Responsible Tourism Award.

The Prize:
Entrants who have named one of the 12 winning organisations will go forward to the prize draw for two stunning holidays. First prize will be a two-week trip for two people to China, subject to availability and unforeseen eventualities, and the second prize is two nights’ B&B at Bryn Elltyd guesthouse in Snowdonia.
Nominations must be received by Monday, August 1, 2005.
