CCC Attends 10th RCUK Annual Conference in London

Coral Cay Conservation attended the 10th Reef Conservation UK conference on 8th Dec, held at the Zoological Society of London at Regents Park. CCC Founder Pete Raines and Senior Field Scientist Jan-Willem van Bochove co-presented a talk summing up the success of CCC projects in the Philippines over the last 10 years. There were about 80 participants at the conference with four session of presentations on coral reef related research conducted by UK based conservation organisations and universities. CCC Head of Marine Science Dr Simon Harding also highlighted the up and coming International Year of the Reef in 2008 and requested that participants become involved in IYOR 2008 events in the UK.
