CCC to coordinate UK IYOR Activities on behalf of RCUK

Coral Cay Conservation will be at the forefront of next year’s International Year of the Reef (IYOR) promotions, with news CCC is taking on the lead role of coordinating UK activities throughout IYOR 2008.
Coral Cay will be undertaking this massive task on behalf of Reef Conservation UK (RCUK), which has been designated the official UK Focal Point for IYOR 2008.
As well as initiating a number of activities and events during IYOR, CCC will be coordinating campaigns and activities organised by other UK-based organisations so that awareness of coral reefs and the issues affecting them are brought to as many people as possible within the UK.
There is a lot of hard work ahead though and CCC is looking for some extra manpower during what will be, an extremely busy time. With the extra workload, CCC is looking to recruit an intern to specifically work on the coordination of IYOR activities within the UK.
