DAVID BELLAMY POPS IN FOR A CUPPA!

None other than Prof David Bellamy (OBE) himself popped in to our office to inspect the CCC troops and join us for a cuppa and a catch up, much to our surprise and delight!
His infectious passion for conservation and charisma had us all totally captivated and as he shared his tales of his global adventures, we stood wide eyed, grinning and nodding like eager kids in a sweet shop!
(well we would have been if we weren’t so cool, calm and professional - as you can see in the pictures here!)
After a good chin wag and an update on the latest CCC news, we discussed several new prospects for 2008.
As you avid CCC watchers will know, this year is the International Year of the Reef (IYOR) and Coral Cay are involved in promoting issues surrounding coral reef conservation to as many people as we can reach. David is on the case supporting our efforts in all the ways he can!
David has been CCC President since we began in 1985 and has been championing our cause around the world.
As part of the International Year of the Reef we are hoping to join Bellamy in China in Oct to promote IYOR and conservation issues to the global network of International Schools.
