EXPLORE 2005 the annual expedition and fieldwork planning seminar at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in the heart of London is the ideal place to find advice, contacts and inspiration for future expeditions. Over 100 leading field scientists and explorers will be on site to give lectures, run workshops and give one-to-one consultation. Exhibition stalls will be displaying innovative field equipment and give up-to-date advice on the latest equipment that your expedition could benefit from. The Saturday evening Explorers Bar is the ideal place to chat to fellow explorers and network.
EXPLORE 2005 will run over the weekend of 18 – 20 November 2005.
The conference will start with a free evening event ‘In the Field’ on Friday 18 November where previous winners of RGS-IBG Geographical Fieldwork Grants will share their field experiences and answer questions (see www.rgs.org/grants for details of speakers).
Student ticket price is £65 for the weekend, full price £94. Further discounts are available for group bookings.
