FLOWS AND SPACES IN A GLOBALISED WORLD
The Royal Geographical Society with IBG Annual International Conference is among the largest annual geographical meetings in the world, and is the largest for geographers in the UK. It provides the opportunity for the research and higher education sectors to share and discuss new research both within the academy, and with user communities. The conference attracts over 1100 delegates including policy-makers, government agencies, utility companies and those in commerce and industry who use and value geographical research. It is the conference of the Society’s research groups.
The conference will be held at the RGS-IBG the heart of international geography, at Kensington Gore, London. The conference will consist of over 900 papers presented in up to 130 parallel sessions and 13 plenary sessions. Everyone who wishes has an opportunity to submit a presentation, whether part of one of the themes or not.
