Trinidad and Tobago Heritage Parks

Dr Craig Turner (CCC Director of Science) recently completed a short mission to Trinidad and Tobago to contribute to an initiative to develop a national system of Heritage Parks.
CCC was invited by the Ministry of Local Government (for Trinidad and Tobago) and the UNDP to contribute to the initial phase of developing a national system of Heritage Parks.
Craig spent a busy week visiting and assessing proposed Heritage Park sites in Trinidad and the Tobago, contributing to a national workshop on Heritage Parks models, and working with relevant partners to initiate discussions and development of a framework for determining and developing an appropriate model for Trinidad and Tobago.
