Story of the Month
As always November has been an action packed month for CCC volunteers and staff! One of our biggest achievements this month has been finishing our information board after months of hard work designing and painting. It is now up for all to see at Arnos Vale Bay! Our colourful information board is aimed at informing local Tobagonian people and tourists about Tobago’s beautiful and diverse reefs, why Coral Cay are here in Tobago and how everyone can do their bit to help the reef.
Quote of the Month!
“If I could be a fish I would be a Black Durgon Triggerfish because like me they’re graceful and elegant in a bizarre and understated way!” Ashley Bray, volunteer from Cambridge University.
What the Volunteers Say…
Melissa Phillips a Reef Conservation scholar says “It’s been a great experience from beginning to end, very challenging and extremely satisfying, thank you!”
Ben Shephard, 4 week volunteer from Manchester says “Three things to say about my time here: At home I wake up tired and irritable, here I’m happy and looking forward to the day; I hated that I was going already so I extended my stay; and finally I’d like to thank everyone for making my time here so special.”
