The Post-Courier, the largest selling national newspaper in Papua New Guinea, has published an article praising Coral Cay Conservation’s project.
The project was officially been launched at the Forestry Research Institute in Lae (Morobe Province) at the end of September by the Hon Sasa Zibe, the Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, and senior delegates from Coral Cay Conservation. The project will work closely with the Waria Valley people focusing on developing alternative livelihoods schemes for local people and future generations.
It is a partnership between Coral Cay Conservation (CCC), the Waria Valley Community, Department for Environment and Conservation, JFA Ltd, Village Development Trust, Forestry Research Institute, Morobe Bris Kanda Association (MBK) and Unitech.
