Danjugan Island – A Unique Conservation Experience
Coral Cay Conservation and the Philippine Reef & Rainforest Conservation Foundation, Inc (PRRCFI) are delighted to announce unique opportunities for members of the CCC Society to visit Danjugan Island in the Philippines. This is your chance to reserve an entire tropical island paradise for an exclusive 10-day stay for you and your friends, family (children are welcome) or corporate guests, and contribute directly to the conservation and protection of this magnificent island.
Danjugan Island: Lying in the Sulu Sea, 3km west of Negros Occidental, Danjugan Island (1.5km by 0.5km) rises steeply to 80m and is covered in rainforest - home to sea eagles, herons, sunbirds, several varieties of bats and many other species. There are five lagoons: three landlocked and two flooded at high tide and colonised by coral and reef fish species. Danjugan is fringed with turtle-nesting beaches and surrounded by diverse coral reefs.
