EXHIBITION ‘People of Palawan - Photographs from the Philippines by Katherine Jack’ opens at the European Commission Gallery, 8 Storey’s Gate, London SW1 on Wednesday 24 January 2007. Opening + private view 6-8pm Tuesday 23 January.
Professional photographer and ex-CCC Volunteer Katherine Jack opens her exhibition, ‘People of Palawan’ at the European Commission Gallery in London on Wednesday 24 January 2007.
Showcasing photographs from the Philippines, Katherine’s work is a mixture of journalism and photography showing different aspects of life in Palawan, an island of the Philippines. Her photographs focus on the people, the culture and the environment of this fascinating island. Having volunteered on the Coral Cay Conservation expedition on Danjugen Island in January 1997, Katherine decided to live full time in the Philippines in 2004.
