It’s been a typically busy month here at Coral Cay:
· We have been busy planning a satellite expedition to survey the reefs of San Pedro and San Pablo Islands of the Municipality of Hinunangan to help contribute to their Coastal Resource Management Program and aid the establishment of a Marine Protected Area.
· The site move to Napantao, Panaon Island is finally progressing. Therefore, we are concentrating on completing our underwater surveys of Padre Burgos so that we will be able to forge ahead with Panaon Islands coastal resource assessment, including the Pacific coast.
· The replanted mangroves at Buenavista are progressing well, our volunteers re-visited the site to remove molluscs and litter and found that the majority of seedlings were…
