CCC Website Relaunch
Added to website: 05 November 2004
After months of careful research, planning and development, Coral Cay Conservation (CCC) is pleased to announce the relaunch of its website.
CCC is a British-based not-for-profit, international award-winning organization, dedicated to providing resources to help sustain livelihoods and alleviate poverty through the protection, restoration and management of coral reefs and tropical rainforests.
The aim of the redesign is to make the website easier to navigate and to provide helpful and informative content on CCC’s important conservation work abroad.
The site features a new section on the charitable work of the Coral Cay Conservation Trust and Society, and their efforts to protect coral reefs and tropical forests - and the livelihoods of the people who depend on them.
The new Press and Media section provides members of that sector with important facts on CCC, latest press releases, press clippings, volunteer quotes and an exclusive inteview with the Founder and Managing Director of CCC.
Through the News and Updates section, visitors can keep up-to-date with latest expedition developments, volunteer diaries and reviews, and science and conservation reports from around the world.
The website also functions as a Science resource with detailed information on coral reefs and tropical forests, the main threats to their continued existence, the conservation efforts being made globally and also CCC’s contribution.
Director of Public Relations, Tanya Blackburn, said: “Relaunching the website has been an exciting challenge. With these improvements www.coralcay.org will continue to inform and enthuse members of the public about the important conservation work CCC is doing worldwide”.
The website, which has been online since 2001, currently attracts more than 10,000 unique users per month, a figure which continues to grow each year.
