CCC Red Sea Liveaboard- Birmingham City Schools Initiative
Added to website: 09 May 2005
The CCC Society’s first Conservation Liveaboard has departed for the Red Sea! Thanks to sponsorship from PolyCam PVX video conferencing systems, the Liveaboard trip has been linked to Birmingham City Schools as part of initiative to assess how e-learning can influence teaching and learning.
IT support has included the construction of a website ( www.bgfl.org/bgfl/30.cfm), including still images, text and streamed video. Updates are made on a 3 hourly basis to answer student questions, see images of the coral reefs of the Red Sea and view video clips.
Schools currently involved in this initiative are King Edwards VI Camp Hill Boys and Woodhouse Primary School. If any other school wishes to get involved they can do so through the following page:Questions.
