Red Sea Update
Added to website: 04 January 2006
The Red Sea Conservation Project Pilot Phase ends in mid-May. The work that has been done to date has concentrated on the area around the CCC base south of Marsa Alam. CCCs scientific team will be analysing the data collected and producing the reports in the forthcoming weeks. A trip to Egypt will then be made to present the findings to the Project Partners and Government Agencies involved. After presenting these results and to maximise the value of continuing the project discussion will be held between CCC and the Partners. When these discussions have been concluded CCC will be announcing further details of the establishment of a full reef conservation project in Egypt.
