New start dates for Tobago project!
Added to website: 12 December 2006
Tobago’s coral reefs like many in the Caribbean are threatened ecosystems. At present whilst survey work on one of the reef complexes has been undertaken, very little is known about the entirety of the fringing reef that lines the Island. What however is known is that this system has immense importance for both the social and economic stability of the Island.
Working with the Bucco Reef Trust and the Tobago House of Assembly, Coral Cay Conservation will undertake a comprehensive two-year programme of surveys around coral reefs
We are currently recruiting volunteers to be part of this important mission! So why not ‘make a difference’ and do something positive in the New Year.
