REEF RELIEF SEEKS PROGRAMME MANAGER

Reef Relief, a global nonprofit membership organization dedicated to protecting coral reefs, is seeking a candidate to fill the full time position of Program Manager.
The Program Manager will be responsible for operations at the Reef Relief Environmental Center in Key West, Florida, in addition to growing Reef Relief’s constituents and member base and increasing awareness and support for coral reefs on a local and regional level through environmental education. This is an important position with a great deal of responsibility.
Basic duties include but are not limited to:
- administrative;
- accounting;
- banking;
- budgeting;
- fundraising;
- membership services;
- program coordination;
- retail and wholesale operations;
- public relations;
- special events planning and supervision of staff, volunteers and interns.
This position reports to the executive director and involves coordination with the board of directors of Reef Relief.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marine conservation or grassroots environmental education. Familiar with ocean or coral reef issues. Motivated self starter able to lead team activities. Strong communication (verbal and writing) skills. Detail-oriented organizational skills. Proven management experience. Proficient in computer and online communications. Multi-tasker. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience, and designed to provide an incentive-based structure.
