Coral Cay believes in saying it how it is. You have always relied on us to deliver honest results transparently, challenging the norm, negotiating sustainable alternatives to halting destructive practices and delivering results with respect, reliability and positivity. Initiative is actively encouraged and even expected, boundaries are pushed, possibilities expanded and the staff continue to produce amazing results incredibly resourcefully and nearly always in good humour! The pressure is on to deliver improbably demanding results consistently and the CCC team pull together with remarkable ease and natural communication which comes from mutual respect and hard work. The consistency and integrity of CCC is, in no small measure, down to our Founder and CEO Mr Peter Raines - although he would brush it off in jest. It is his knowledge, direction and clarity that has driven the organisation forward and maintained the 'cards on the table' ethos that is prevalent behind the scenes in the cogs and wheels of the CCC engine. He continues to be an inspiring leader and his often humorous and always dedicated and passionate approach to conservation and all it stands for, is what has shaped CCC to this day, and will continue to into the future.  But that is by no means all! We are lucky enough to have a growing family of past and present advisors, scientists, directors, trainers, managers & coordinators, as well as ambassadors, volunteers, patrons & friends who all bring their unique flair into the mix, and continue to actively challenge and drive CCC forward with confidence, striving for improvement. It is YOU who make CCC a great organisation. That is what makes CCC stand out, along with the work we do, it's the people behind it, it’s pleasure to be working with such a team and it will continue to be a pleasure long after I've gone...home to bed, it's past midnight and I'm pooped! |
