Who are Coral Cay Conservation?
diver with a turtle Coral Cay Conservation is an award winning specialist in coral reef and tropical forest conservation.  You can join our projects as a volunteer, researcher or specialist and work hands -on, out in the field.  With our new conservation breaks, mini expeditions and special discounts - we offer a responsible alternative to active breaks away, plus the chance to travel with a purpose and really making a difference in the places that need it most.

With us you can immerse yourself in a remote rainforest or colourful coral reef and refresh your perspective on life.  You can live among the local community  and experience a different culture, get back to nature and make some incredible friendships...not to mention the photo opportunities of idyllic sunsets and possible sightings of turtles, whale sharks or birds of paradise!  All in all, we are offering a unique and unforgettable conservation experience.

We take a holistic approach to our projects and to our conservation efforts as a whole.  Our analysis is scientific, our approach is community focused, and our goal is sustainability.  Here is our belief, vision and mission:

CCC Aims and Principles

CCCBelief: Coral reefs are fundamental to the future of our planet. To neglect or destroy reefs means greater poverty for future generations

Vision: To lead the recognition of the importance and management of coral reefs for everyone’s future prosperity

Mission: Using best science we will support the preservation of coral reefs and through learning and education support the dependent communities, in the most cost-effective means possible.

How do we achieve these aims?

  1. By providing the technical and financial support that developing countries need in order to produce conservation management plans for threatened reefs and forests.
  2. By training international volunteers and host-country partners to gather, interpret and monitor the data that's so crucial for effective conservation.
  3. By working with host-country governments and other organisations to encourage education and sustainable livelihood opportunities in local communities.
