Coral Cay has teamed up with Reef Check >> and is now providing the 3-day EcoDiver training >> to all volunteers for FREE, saving as much as £250! This course qualifies you to help Reef Check teams monitor reefs worldwide.  With training facilities >> established in more than 90 countries and territories, there are a multitude of reefs to survey at nearly every diving destination worldwide.

Coral Cay now has a qualified Tropical EcoDiver Trainer on all our project sites !!

Reef Check has been conducting assessments of coral reef health around the globe since 1997 and now YOU can help them. With the Tropical EcoDiver certification, you will be able to help carry out Reef Check surveys in tropical locations across the globe! All you’ll need to do is pay CCC an optional £30 to get your certification card at the end of the training course.

Since its establishment in 1986, Coral Cay has been conducting Reef Check surveys at all its marine project sites and has used this data to help develop effective management plans. As an example, the Danjugan Island Marine Reserve and Wildlife Sanctuary >> was established after Reef Check surveys conducted there between 1997-1999 showed it to have incredibly diverse and unique reefs (To read the Full Report, click here >> ). As one of Reef Checks biggest contributors, Coral Cay is proud to be providing scientific data to this important global reef monitoring effort.

• Whilst  RC training is free, there is an optional certification card that  will cost  £30. Volunteers can either pay before departure or once the course has been completed.
