Forest Expeditions
If you enjoy trekking and want to experience life in a tropical rainforest first-hand, then opt for one of our expeditions into the deep jungle of the Philippines or Papua New Guinea.
The highly diverse habitat of tropical rainforests means that it is home to a spectacular range of species. You can live among the birds, bees and bats and other forest dwellers in a jungle paradise, learning about their survival and helping their protection and conservation. In groups, you will bird watch by day and set up mist nets to catch bats by night. The skills you acquire will mean that you will be able to distinguish between the different species found only there - you may even be lucky and see birds of paradise in Papua New Guinea, or tarsiers in the Philippines!
