Coral Cay Conservation is a leading organizer of conservation and educational projects in the developing world. For over 25 years, we have been working with governments and local communities worldwide to deliver sustainable conservation solutions in order to protect coral reefs and tropical forests. We provide our programme participants with a unique opportunity for volunteer projects and medical elective trips.
Regardless of which destination you choose, all our programmes ensure an immense amount of hands on work experience, meaningful project work and cultural immersion.
As well as our permanent medical field bases, we have strong relationships with the partner hospitals and clinics where we place our students and we work closely with the medical professionals in these facilities to ensure a structured placement for our students.
We have Doctors, Paramedics and Nurses permanently sited at our field
bases who work alongside our volunteer divers and local communities. Elective
students will work alongside our staff team as well as working in local clinics
and hospitals. As well as medical placements, students will have the
opportunity to learn to dive and participate in our marine conservation
programmes.
We currently run bespoke programmes for:
