Coral Cay Conservation offer various exciting options for overseas internships and electives. Click on the links below for further information

The Divemaster internship offers you the chance to combine conservation training with commercial diving experience. Spending 10 weeks on our expedition site you will build up to your PADI Rescue Diver whilst learning about the importance of coral reefs and learning how to identify the different species of fish, corals and invertebrates through the Skills Development Programme. After this you will then go onto a local PADI Dive Centre for 10 weeks to complete your Divemaster training.  This will enable you to see the other side of diving from a tourist’s point of view. Go to our Divemaster Internships page to learn more about this fantastic opportunity.

This Medical Elective lasts for 4 weeks and is aimed at medical students wanting to get experience in the field. Your time will be spent helping our Medical Officer on site or in the local hospital or clinic. You will also get the chance to go through the Skills Development Programme and take part in ecological surveys.

This option is for those who are wanting to start a career in Expedition Management.  You will be put through a series of carefully selected training courses and shadow the Field Base Manager over a 6 month period.  By the end of this internship you will have the experience and qualifications needed to work in the industry.
