Organise a group of 10 people and one goes free or the whole group can get a 10% discount!

You can choose from any of our current expedition locations and there is no set duration.  Whether you want to trek through tropical forests monitoring a wealth of flora and fauna or dive on some of the most pristine reefs in the world we have expeditions that will suit your needs.

If you choose to book on as a marine group then you will gain a true and pragmatic understanding of coral reef ecology, the conservation issues surrounding these ecosystems and the community's reliance on them, as well as directly contributing to Coral Cay’s approach to community based conservation.

You will receive all the necessary training on the expedition, including:

  • Dive training to PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
  • Species Identification
  • Coastal Ecology
  • Coral Reef Surveying
  • Coastal Resource Management and Protected Areas
  • Introduction to Data Management and GIS

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of expedition life, including helping out with community educational activities and working closely with both local and international volunteers and staff.

Further training in both SCUBA diving (up to PADI Divemaster) and scientific surveying can be provided, dependent on the length of the expedition.

Booking on as a terrestrial group will give you the opportunity to learn about the terrestrial environment and the increasing pressures that it faces.  As with the marine expedition, you will receive all of the necessary training in country including:

  • Species ID
  • Tropical Forest Ecology
  • Field Skills Training
  • Ecological Survey Techniques

Whichever option you choose, you will get the opportunity to experience some of the most beautiful and diverse locations in the world and help conserve vitally important ecosystems.

'We spent five weeks with CCC on their Philippines project. We were a group of twenty students from Durham University, and despite the extremely large size of our group the staff got us all through the various training programmes successfully.

Fifteen members of our group had never dived before, but they were all fully qualified as  Advanced Open Water divers by the middle of our stay, thanks to some amazing training from the CCC Scuba Instructor. The group also fully completed the Skills Development Programme, and everyone was able to contribute to the collection of survey data by completing transects.

The range of non diving activities was also really exciting, as we performed the 'Fred the Fish' puppet show, held an open day for local children and painted a coral reef themed mural at a school in the local village.

The whole group had an incredible time at CCC, with amazing diving (Manta Rays, Whale Sharks and Turtles!) exciting local culture and brilliant weekend fancy dress parties.

Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would certainly recommend an expedition with CCC to anyone.

Thanks so much!'
