Coral Cay Conservation is an award winning conservation NGO that has been running projects since 1986.  Joining one of our expeditions will give you the chance to explore some of the most beautiful locations in the world whilst helping to preserve these threatened ecosystems.  As a marine volunteer you will learn to Scuba dive and conduct marine surveys analysing the ecological status of reef systems.

"I never thought I would learn as much about the oceans, environment, conservation, diving, people and culture. The excitement of diving with the reward of surveying has made me passionate about the oceans. I will definitely be pursuing conservation further at university and in my career".

Kirsty Brown - Expedition Volunteer - Cambodia & The Philippines

There are a range of ways to volunteer on a Coral Cay Conservation expedition.  You can choose anything from short term trips of 2 weeks or more, to internships lasting up to 20 weeks. Whether you are looking to travel on your own or as part of a group, all of our projects are open to anyone from 18 (16 if part of a school group) and up to join.

You would be welcome to join us on one of our expedition locations. We run a maximum of two locations at once.

The Philippines

Coral Cay has been working in the Philippines since 2002. Join this conservation project and discover some of the best diving and incredible biodiversity that the Philippines has to offer.

Please note this project is now closed to volunteers due to the completion of our work on island.

With the number of companies offering conservation expeditions it is important to know that you are going to the one that is right for you.  Joining one of these trips can be a life changing experience and so it is essential that you do your research and know who you are going with.  Watch the video below 'Why Volunteer with Coral Cay Conservation?' to see the work that you could be involved in.

"We have complete confidence in CCC as a highly professional organisation and would recommend the experience to any potential volunteer of any age, who wishes to spend time participating in a truly important environmental conservation activity. While developing new skills and discovering previously unknown personal attributes."
