Each month, our field team produce a Monthly Project Update, or MPU, which is delivered to our in-country project partners. The MPU's are a relaxed and informal means of communicating all the exciting efforts that have taken place on the project, encompassing activities from volunteers surveying to engaging local stakeholders as well as information on our latest scholars. Whilst the work we conduct in the Philippines is critical, so is its communication and the MPUs serve as another platform to do so effectively.
Our MPUs have gone through many phases over the years, with changing aesthetics and styles, from PDFs to Mailing Lists, but due to their long history, they present an excellent first-hand account of the incredible work our volunteers and staff undertake.
In 2020, in a bid to further reduce our environmental impact, and increase the range of our communication, we have replaced our historic printed deliverables with an "LRCP - Monthly Project Update" mailing list. In doing so, we hope to provide ex-CCC volunteers, scholars and staff, as well as current and prospective members of the CCC-family, the opportunity to follow the project and stay up to date with the latest developments.
