Marine Expedition Management Scheme

Learn all the ins and outs of a marine conservation project

Have you always wanted to lead a marine conservation expedition but  are lacking experience or professional certifications? If yes, read on!

Are you looking to break in to the marine expedition industry? The Marine Expedition Management Scheme (MEMS) will give you qualifications and experience that will set you above other applicants. With over 30 years of experience in the sector we have carefully tailored this internship to ensure that you gain the national accreditations needed to lend authenticity to your application, whilst giving you the hands-on experience to allow you to carry out your role with confidence.

CCC are part of the Lifesigns Group, a group of companies specialising in overseas expeditions, and providers of training in: health and safety, the medical field, and risk. As much of the scheme training is run in house we are able to ensure that you are able to benefit from both CCC and the Lifesigns Group's extensive knowledge and expertise in working in remote conditions. You will be closely supervised by established instructors and expedition staff, and will be fully briefed on current guidelines, regulations and policies that contribute to running a safe and successful marine conservation project. We believe that this comprehensive training package sets the industry standard in expedition leadership.

"If you're reading this and thinking, leading for Coral Cay Conservation sounds interesting but actually I'd prefer to do seasonal work, then leading school teams on short term overseas expeditions may be a better fit for you. Why not contact our sister team over at Adventure Lifesigns and they'll talk you through the necessary training! "
